A Piece Of Paper

Over twenty four years ago I graduated from Pickens Technical College with a certificate in Respiratory Therapy.   I was so proud to be a CRT (Certified  Respiratory Therapist) and have that piece of paper.  Years went by and I obtained the rest of the qualifications to test for the RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) tests.

After taking the test I failed only by four points on each part, butI failed.  Devestating to someone with a 3.4 GPA.  The years went by and in 2011 I became a victim of "that's nwver never going to happen to me" syndrome when I lost my respiratory job.

Repurposing

Now I have started to  repurpose my career and life.   I also have found that a little piece of paper makes a huge difference in the corporate and medical worlds.  It's not enough to have the years of knowledge and experience,  now it's a requirement to have that one piece of paper that says; "You are a real special person who did it our way".

What's wrong with wanting to help other people achieve their dreams?

I want to sleep until I'm done sleeping.  I want to choose how and when I work.  What about you?

I'll Do It Next Year

The words; "I'll do it next year" just make me so mad!
I can't tell you how many times I have heard that from people this year when I'm presenting this awesome business opportunity to them.
What makes them think that they are going to "do it" at all? These are just excuse words to make entrepreneurs think that the person whom they're speaking with are actually interested in what they have to offer to them.

STOP Listening to these excuse words! If there not going to jump on board with your "wonderful" opportunity after meeting with them the third time or fourth time, they're NOT going to join up with you.
It takes four to six "touches" to actually get them interested most of the time. You might find those rare gems that jump in feet first and shoot out of the gate with a bang.

Another year is coming to a close. How did you do with recruiting people into your business?
How will you do things differently from the year to make next year more profitable?

Will YOU be trading dimes for time, or time for your dimes?
